A Word from Pastor Lawrence
       Thank you for taking the time to visit our Bethel United Church Of Christ Website.  The Church family and myself look forward to meeting with you when you visit our church, and together we can worship and fellowship.   I was born and grew up in the Island of Jamaica where I received my Theological Education, and served many congregations throughout Jamaica before moving to Missouri September 2001. Before coming here to Bethel, October 1, 2006, I served two churches in the Eastern Association of the Missouri Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ.
       Please remember that Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:00 am and worship 10:15 am each Sunday morning. On the fourth Sunday we have a service with a difference, we call it "Contemporary Worship." Our Band will provide the music .If we can be of further spiritual help to you or any member of your family, do feel free to call and let us talk (314)831-5808 or visit the Church office Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Bethel church family is open to all persons of all racial, ethnic or denominational backgrounds. We have programs for children, youth, young Adults and older Adults.
       The people of Bethel are on a journey together, we are seeking to grow in faith and understanding, to develop a deeper spirituality and commitment to peace and justice for all of God's people and want to be faithful in our stewardship.
