THIS YEAR has gone by so fast! We have enjoyed teaching, playing and caring for your children. We hope you and your children have enjoyed your year with us as well.
I SENT HOME information packets in April for the 2011-2012 school year. Packets include: a new Handbook, Immunization Form and a new Contact Information Form. These forms need to be completed and returned by the first week of school. We will have a 2011-2012 Open House in July.
THEMES for May are: Mother Goose, Cartoon Fun Day, Mother’s Day, Zoo Animals, and much more.
MAY 4th is Cartoon Fun Day. We would like all the children to wear their favorite Cartoon P.J’s. If they are not comfortable wearing P.J’s to school, they may wear their favorite cartoon shirt. Let’s see whose class has the most cartoons! Ice Cream Sandwiches for the winning class!
WE WILL HAVE our Annual Mom’s Tea on Friday, May 6th beginning at 9:30 am. If Mom is unavailable to attend, then your child may bring a Grandma, Aunt, or a special friend.
SHOW-n-TELL is on Wednesdays, May 11th and 12th and Friday, May 13th.
THE LAST WEEK of school we have a lot of fun things planned. The cost for each lunch is $1.00. Please, do not send a lunch box with your child on these days:
May 16th - Chicken Nuggets, Fries, Juice, and Popsicles;
May 17th - Picnic with Turkey Sandwiches, Chips, Fruit Punch and dessert;
May 18th - Hot Dogs, Chips, Pudding and Juice;
May 19th & 20th – Pizza Parties with Soda and desserts.
OUR GRADUATION PROGRAM will be on Thursday, May 19th at 6:00 pm at Bethel Church.
WATER FUN DAY is set for Friday, May 20th, weather permitting. Please bring a change of clothes as we plan to be outside playing in water. You may want to bring a towel, also.
REMEMBER, please do not send your child to school in sandals. Tennis shoes are always a good idea to help protect your child’s feet.
